More about Breanna:

Born in Southeastern Wisconsin, Breanna grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by her 4H project animals. She graduated from University of Wisconsin – River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science where she focused on the livestock component of agriculture. Breanna took a detour from agriculture to work in environmental conservation when she served on an AmeriCorps trail crew in Northwest Colorado. Throughout her two summer seasons in Colorado, she built and maintained hiking and mountain biking trails throughout the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains while living out of a tent the entire time. After returning to the Midwest, Breanna worked as a Seasonal Land Steward and later as a Misty Acres Farm Assistant for the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. Breanna is excited to meet and work with produce farmers throughout the region to provide education and technical assistance regarding produce safety.

Although considered a transplant to the region of Traverse City, Breanna hopes to never leave the endless trails and stunning Lake Michigan shoreline behind. During her free time, Breanna can be found hiking, trail running, enjoying the lake, and hanging out with the Misty Acres cattle and goats.
